Wind & Friends Sailing School in Mallorca – 2024 Season
Our Wind & Friends sailing school has just finished another great season. We want to thank to all of you for being with us for such a long time. We believe that our water sports base Wind & Friends in Mallorca provided you lots of fun and entertainment. As every year, you had the opportunity to try such sports as windsurfing, wingfoiling, paddle surfing or kayaking. And as always, a fleet of sailboats along your most desired catamarans was ready to go for our sailors on the beach.
Wind & Friends Sailing School – Beginning of the season
This year, we started the season in Mallorca earlier than usual. The Wind & Friends Sailing School appeared on the beach on March 20th. This is all due to Easter, which was dated quite early this year, and for which so many of you come to Mallorca, Alcudia. Due to excellent weather conditions, the spring season opening was great. After the busy Easter holidays, Wind & Friends school in Mallorca was able to fully prepare for the upcoming high season. With the beginning of summer, our Wind & Friends station went into high gear. Especially in the summer time, during July and August millions of tourists visit Mallorca for their holidays. The beautiful beaches of Alcudia Bay were visited by many people willing to try sailing, windsurfing or wingfoiling. The Wind & Friends sailing school, heated up to the limits, was open continuously from early morning to evening, so that each of our guests could feel the sea breeze on these hot days of the Spanish summer. After two months of intense but also succesfull work, full of courses and training, it was time to rest for a while and gather strength for the following October peak. This year, the last month of the season was very warm and windy, and once again the Wind & Friends sailing school welcomed a large number of visitors. Until the last day, we enjoyed the sun and favorable conditions for windsurfing, wingfoil and sailing.
Wind & Friends 2024 – season summary
After a long, busy, but above all successful season, we are closing the year 2024 and saying goodbye to you for a while. We will come back to you in a few months after the winter break to warm up your sports senses again. Thank you for so many visits and stays at our Wind & Friends school. Of course, we remain available throughout the winter and encourage you to contact us. We hope to see you again in the upcoming 2025 season.
