SUP – Stand Up Paddling

SUP has conquered our planet. Stand up paddling – for old and young, easy to learn and suitable for all who want to try it. The board is bigger and more stable than a windsurfing board and you are standing up, moving by paddling.

SUP training or fun?

It is similar to surfing, except that you stand up on the surfboard and  you do not  have to paddle with your hands, but a single bladed paddle. So exalted, standing on the board gliding over the water is just a great feeling. By having to constantly balance the board one is always in action as every single muscle in the body is required.

Stand Up Paddling as a workout?

The environmental friendly new trend sport will give your body the right shape and a healthy lifestyle in harmony with nature. SUP can be run on all water surfaces by athletes of all ages and all abilities. SUP is also ideal for women and offers a perfect total body workout and a good figure. Even children can do it from 6 years onwards.

If you fall from the board, which can also happen, a life jacket is provided for those who don`t feel comfortable and safe in the water. Your wetsuit can be left at home when you do SUP in Mallorca. The water is warm and the wind-and wave-sheltered Bay of Alcudia offers ideal conditions for distance paddling.

The boards can your rent on the beach at Wind & Friends Sailing School for 10 € / hour.
