Course description
Usually around noon you hear the clatter of the halyards on the masts and your sailor’s heart beats higher, because the thermal winds are back. This is the time when it says “Leash off!” for the training program Sailing Special.
For many years, our water sports center has enjoyed the exclusive privilege of being on one of the most beautiful and longest (12 km) beaches of Mallorca. From afar you can see the colorful sails of our boats. This fantastic location in the wide bay of Alcùdia ensures reliable thermal winds and provides unforgettable sailing pleasure.
With basic training and sailing experience on dinghies or other mono hulls you already know the feelings of happiness that the whispers of the wind and the sound of the sea give to a sailor. And you definitely want more!
This advanced course serves as a perfection program for sporty sailing and trains your skills in handling more demanding boats such as Laser Classic or Laser Fun (trapeze sailing possible), RS Zest and Tera as well as Top Cat catamarans K3 and K2.
Sailing Special is taught exclusively in small groups to respond as individually as possible to needs and wishes. The “interview” before the course provides important information.
All our sailing experts are VDWS (German Association of Watersports Schools) qualified instructors and have years of experience. They know what is important in sporty sailing and make sure that you know the fine line between risk and skill – if your adrenaline get out of control.
During 5 days you will consolidate and refine the basic training maneuvers and learn many new things. After all, it is the details that make the good sailor – be it weight trim, sail setting, tactics and harness sailing.
Wind and waves are always on the side of the better sailor. After completing this course sailing special, you can proudly profess to the advanced sailors.
