Watersports Center Wind&Friends

An attractive holiday offering sailing and windsurfing at the water sports school “Wind&Friends” in the Bay of Alcudia/Majorca. Best watersports and leisure conditions for beginners and advanced alike. The VDWS (German Association of Watersports Schools) acknowledges “Wind&Friends” as an official training centre.

A wide and sandy beach gently shelving into the sea is perfectly suited for bathing and sport activities. Our windsurfing and sailing school situated on one of the longest and most beautiful beaches of the Balearic Islands is protected from strong winds and high waves. Its location is ideal for training in windsurfing and sailing.

Wind conditions are perfect, with thermal winds in summer (1–2 and 3–4 on the Beaufort scale in the morning/afternoon respectively) providing the best possible training environment.

Station equipment

Windsurfing

Our “Wind & Friends” station has Heyfly windsurfing boards – training boards, Fanatic Geco and Starboards from 105 l upwards – to training boards with a displacement of up to 240 l. Gunsails sails for advanced 5.5 – 7.9 m², VDWS training sails from 1.5 -5.5 m² . Very light, aluminum propellers for children allow them to start training from about 6 years of age, depending on their physical predisposition.
