2026 Season with Wind & Friends
Our Wind & Friends water sports school is already starting preparations for the 2026 season. This
year, the Wind & Friends crew will once again have to face administrative and regulatory challenges,
which may slightly delay the start of the season. Nevertheless, we count on your presence from the
very first day we arrive on the beach in Puerto Alcudia Bay. As every year, we have several new
products for you that will surely delight sailing, windsurfing, and wingfoiling enthusiasts.
For the 2026 season, the new Fanatic windsurfing boards are finally arriving at the Wind & Friends
base. Windsurfers will have the opportunity to try out two models: the Fanatic Gecko and Blast, in
sizes ranging from 120 to 146 liters. The new models are even lighter and faster, so you can enjoy
planing in Alcudia Bay even more. New sails from Gunsails, a company with which Wind & Friends
has collaborated for many years, will also be available. The new rigs, combined with Fanatic boards,
will provide you with immense joy and pleasure on the water.
As you well know, our Wind & Friends school is especially open to families with children. We believe
that developing a passion for water sports in young children is an important element of their
development, and the resulting joy for parents allows them to create bonds and build a family
together with Wind & Friends. At the end of 2025, our fleet was expanded with a new, smaller
catamaran designed for children. As a great alternative to the Optimist for young, more experienced
sailors, it will be available on the beach in the 2026 season. Your kids absolutely must try it, as the
experience is fantastic!
In the 2026 season, we didn’t forget about wingfoil lovers. Our Wind & Friends team wants to make
wingfoiling accessible to everyone, in all wind conditions. That’s why we’re adding another GONG
board to our collection, bringing our total to four boards with different geometries and
displacements for every skill level.
Of course, this isn’t all we’ve prepared for the upcoming 2026 season. Wind & Friends has more news
for you, which you’ll soon be able to not only see but also enjoy by visiting our water sports
database. The opening date of our school remains unknown, but we hope you won’t have to wait
long. We’ll, of course, keep you updated on progress and preparations for the opening. We’ll do our
best to make this upcoming 2026 season so special that you’ll remember it for years to come!
